**Responsibilities**

Manage volunteer operations.

+ Coordinate, integrate, and implement volunteer representative services within all departments requesting volunteer assistance.

+ Manage the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the services offered.

+ Determine the qualifications and competence of volunteer personnel.

+ Select, recruit and manage volunteers.

+ Implement orientation and in-service training.

+ Manage department functions and maintain appropriate quality control through continuous assessment and improvement practices.

+ Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.

+ Participate on various committees and councils to identify opportunities for patient services improvement and subsequently deploy volunteer services accordingly.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Certification specializing in Volunteer Services.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
