Seeking Volunteers to Lead Engaging Presentations or Activities during Traveler Welcome Mixers

Are you passionate about sharing culture, history, or the arts? HI NYC is looking for volunteers to lead engaging presentations or activities at our weekly Monday & Thursday Welcome Parties - a fun, social event where travelers from around the world connect!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a short presentation or interactive activity during our Monday or Thursday Welcome Party
  • Highlight a holiday, heritage month, NYC history, or arts & culture topic
  • Help create a welcoming, educational, and fun experience for travelers visiting from all over the world.

We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
