Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs) seeks a volunteer Publicist with extensive TV, radio, and print contacts domestically and/or internationally to help share GoDocs' mission, work, and impact.

Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization of dedicated medical professionals providing disaster response in natural and man-made events, including wars, earthquakes, typhoons, and refugee crises. GoDocs also offers global healthcare in non-disaster areas through our public health initiative. Current missions include Ukraine and Turkey. Prior missions include Poland, Iraq, Nepal, Lesvos, Ethiopia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Syria border, Guatemala, Mexico, Congo, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Venezuela, Philippines, Grenada, Turkey, and the USA (COVID/hurricanes). GoDocs has provided almost daily medical support on the frontlines since the beginning of the 2022 war in Ukraine. GoDocs has 12 ambulances in Ukraine and has provided $300,000 in financial aid to Ukraine.

We are a humanitarian organization of dedicated medical professionals providing international healthcare, canine search and rescue, and portable satellite communications in disaster regions.

Description

With only 1 doctor for every 20,000 people in Africa alone, our organization is an important addition to other NGOs providing medical care globally. GoDocs is unique because we deploy with canine search and rescue assets alongside medical practitioners to provide a complete service from rescue to definitive medical care. We also offer both eastern and western medical practitioners, providing a wider range of medical services. Additionally, deploying with portable SATCOM allows us to alert the world of needs and conditions on the ground.
