About the Role

The Women’s Manufacturing Network (WMN) is seeking volunteer Program Leads to guide and coordinate core initiatives that support the growth of our community.

As a Program Lead, you’ll oversee a specific focus area within WMN and collaborate with a small team of Project Leads to bring ideas to life. This is a meaningful leadership opportunity for those who want to contribute their time, expertise, and creativity to a growing mission.

Program Areas You Could Lead
  • Visibility & Storytelling – Highlight member voices and oversee our spotlight series
  • Events & Networking – Organize virtual events, panel discussions, and networking opportunities
  • Community Engagement – Create meaningful ways for members to connect and support one another
  • Membership Growth – Support outreach efforts to grow our volunteer and member base
  • Partnerships – Build relationships with manufacturers, sponsors, and other aligned organizations
  • Mentorship – Develop a structure to connect experienced professionals with those looking for guidance, career support, or industry insight
What You’ll Do
  • Lead one key initiative and manage a small team of Project Leads
  • Coordinate planning and execution of program goals
  • Collaborate with other Program Leads to align efforts across the network
  • Contribute ideas, support volunteers, and help advance WMN’s mission
Who You Are
  • Experienced in manufacturing, HR, communications, events, sales, or related fields
  • Interested in supporting and elevating women in the industry
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and working with a team
  • Organized, reliable, and able to communicate effectively
  • Available to volunteer approximately 2–3 hours per week (flexible)
