The Volunteer Program Coordinator will support GLIDE’s volunteer department, administering individual volunteer programs and strategic initiatives. This position will conduct volunteer outreach and recruitment, volunteer scheduling, support with volunteer recognition initiatives and events, and contribute to the design and implementation of new programsand initiatives. This individual will help the department increase the number of volunteers at GLIDE, increase volunteer retentionand repeat volunteerism, and support Community Service volunteers to acquire new skills and access pathways to employment. This position is expected to be onsite Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM and work at major events and holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. There will be occasional work needed on evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

$25 - $31 an hour
This is a fulltime (40 hour/week), Non-Exempt position.
GLIDE’s buildings are located in the Tenderloin neighborhood.GLIDE maintains an "open door" policy to the community and its clients, who frequently enter and leave the building.
This role is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
