Job description

This is a part-time, unpaid remote program lasting 12 weeks, with a commitment of 12 hours per week. You can complete the program in fewer weeks if you prefer.

Responsibilities

1. Lead public and political outreach in your state and district.
2. Meet with members of Congress/Government in your State/District/Constituency.
3. Represent The Borgen Project at various events.
4. Assist with fundraising by creating a personal campaign and meeting targets.
5. Mobilize individuals to contact their government representatives in support of poverty-reduction legislation.
6. Speak to groups, classes, and organizations.
7. Write support letters to political leaders, media, and other groups.

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals dedicated to fighting poverty and advocating for change, regardless of GPA or background.

Additional Details

This is an unpaid opportunity, but college credit may be available. Programs start every month, and you can choose your start date.
