Volunteer: Outreach Messaging Toolkit for Cleft Care Support

Job description

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.

We’d like to work with a skilled professional who can help us create a polished external communications plan for:

• An in-kind donation request letter for companies and community partners
• A hospital partnership inquiry letter for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics departments
• Recommended wording and structure for an online gift registry
• Compassionate messaging guidelines explaining purpose and impact

These materials will help the Faisal Foundation secure donated products and hospital partnerships so more families receive timely feeding supplies, education, and emotional support after a cleft diagnosis. Volunteer contributions will directly expand access to child-centered care and improve early family outcomes.

The Foundation will provide program background, the current basket item list, and a primary contact for collaboration. Our team will be available to review drafts and give timely feedback so volunteers can iterate.
