Position description:

The Volunteer Operations Coordinator works with volunteers to sort and package food for distribution meeting all product, inventory, and safety guidelines. The Volunteer Operations Coordinator is also responsible for creating a fun and rewarding experience for the Food Bank’s volunteers. This is a Part-Time position with a pay rate of $18.50/hr.

Duties:

• Coordinate volunteer projects with the Volunteer Operations Coordinator – Lead.
• Prepare the Volunteer Center for volunteer work sessions.
• Train and supervise volunteer work sessions to prepare food for distribution.
• Properly label, track, and document product flowing Volunteer Center.
• Maintain health, safety, and American Institute of Baking International (AIB) standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
