An established industry player is seeking a Volunteer Manager to oversee volunteer recruitment and management at a prestigious center. This role involves creating training programs, coordinating volunteer activities, and ensuring effective communication between volunteers and staff. The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating and managing volunteer recruitment, screening, and placement in line with the Foundation’s volunteer and public engagement programming at the Obama Presidential Center. This position will create and maintain the program’s structure to include: developing and implementing volunteer training programs, supervising and supporting volunteers, recognizing and rewarding volunteers for their contributions, promoting and marketing volunteer opportunities to the community, and evaluating the volunteer program to recommend improvements.
As the Volunteer Manager, you’ll be reporting directly to the Vice President, Public Engagement.
The salary range for this role is between $87,020 and $108,775.
