ETC provides inbound program opportunities for high school students worldwide to study in American high schools and live with American families. Their outbound program offers students the chance to study and live abroad. Education Travel & Culture is a unique, personalized organization committed to providing exceptional support for students and host families through a network of local coordinators and dedicated staff.

ETC is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] educational exchange organization recruiting host families across the U.S. for international high-school exchange students. We seek a part-time/supplemental income Local Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities of Local Coordinators (LCs):

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools, including monthly oversight
• Receive full training, ongoing support, and guidance from the Field Manager
• Assist in recruiting volunteer host families through various outreach methods

Community-minded individuals such as teachers, volunteers, and social workers make great Student Support Coordinators. LCs may recruit host families via reverse networking, job postings, phone calls, and outbound emails. Compensation is provided for each recruited host family and oversight of exchange students. Hours depend on recruitment and oversight workload. This is an independent contractor role, allowing you to work remotely on your schedule.

Qualifications:

• Ability to support students and host families during the program
• Self-motivated, organized, and well-networked within the community
• Driver’s license and transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Recruitment skills (preferred but not required)

Compensation depends on recruitment and student oversight efforts. This position provides supplemental income only. We are seeking coordinators nationwide.
