ETC provides inbound program opportunities for high school students worldwide to study in the U.S. and live with an American family. Our outbound program offers students the chance to study abroad. Education Travel & Culture is dedicated to supporting both students and host families through a network of local coordinators and staff.

ETC recruits host families nationwide for international high school students. We seek part-time Local Coordinators to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Work with exchange students, host families, and schools, including monthly oversight
• Receive training and ongoing support
• Assist in recruiting volunteer host families (compensated per recruitment)

Ideal candidates are community-minded individuals such as teachers, volunteers, or social workers. This is an independent contractor role, allowing remote work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving skills and ability to support students and families
• Self-motivated, organized, well-connected in the community
• Driver’s license and transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Recruitment skills (preferred)

Compensation depends on recruitment and oversight efforts. This is a supplemental income position. We seek coordinators across the U.S.
