We are dedicated to educating and supporting the transgender community while striving to normalize transgender existence within broader society. Through educational platforms, outreach efforts, and moderated social media, we cultivate a culture where transgender rights are respected, and gender diversity is celebrated as vital to human identity. Our global team of volunteers works daily to make this world a better place for the Trans/GNC community.

Note: Candidates for this position must be residents of North America.

Role Overview

The Instagram Lead is responsible for managing the organization's presence on Instagram, focusing on creating and executing strategies to increase engagement and reach. This role involves working closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop content and advertising campaigns, creating and scheduling posts, moderating comments and messages, and analyzing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Instagram accounts and a strong understanding of social media best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and reach on Instagram.
  2. Create and schedule posts, including text, images, and videos.
  3. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on content and advertising campaigns.
  4. Moderate comments and messages, respond to inquiries, and provide customer service.
  5. Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion rates) to optimize strategies.
  6. Attend meetings, events, and functions as needed to represent the organization and promote Instagram goals.
Qualifications
  1. At least 2 years of experience managing Instagram accounts.
  2. Strong understanding of social media best practices and metrics.
  3. Experience with Instagram advertising platform and Insights.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
