Disaster Accountability Project (DAP) aims to save lives and reduce suffering by enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and equity of disaster preparedness, response, relief, and recovery through oversight, transparency, advocacy, and public education.
DAP is a leading nonprofit organization providing independent, long-term oversight of disaster management systems. It engages a dedicated community to promote policy research, advocacy, transparency, and public participation in oversight, community organizing, and discussions on disaster preparedness and relief.
