Education Travel & Culture (ETC) offers inbound programs for high school students worldwide to study in American high schools and live with American families. Our outbound programs give students the opportunity to study abroad. We are a dedicated organization committed to providing exceptional support to students and host families through a network of local coordinators and staff.

We are seeking host families in La Center, WA, to host exchange students arriving in August 2024. Students come from countries including Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, Paraguay, and more.

The requirements to become a host family are simple:

• Provide 3 meals a day
• Transport students to and from school
• Offer a bedroom for sleeping and studying (students may share a room with same-gender peers)
• Show love and support

Families of all types make great host families! We've hosted single parents, busy families, same-sex couples, empty nesters, and more. If you can't commit to a full school year or semester, consider becoming a "Welcome Family" for 4-8 weeks to introduce the student to U.S. culture. You could be their first impression of America!
