Volunteer: Host a Foreign Exchange Student!

ETC provides inbound program opportunities for high school students worldwide to study in American high schools and live with American families. Their outbound program allows students to study abroad. Education Travel & Culture is dedicated to supporting students and host families through local coordinators and staff.

We are seeking host families in Eugene, Oregon, to host exchange students arriving in August 2024. Students come from countries like Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, Paraguay, and more.

The requirements to become a volunteer host family are simple:

• Provide 3 meals a day
• Transport to/from school
• A bedroom for sleeping and studying (students can share a room with same gender and similar age)
• Love and support

All families can be great host families! We've hosted single moms, busy families, same-sex couples, empty nesters, and more. Can't host for a full year or semester? Consider becoming a "Welcome Family" for 4-8 weeks to introduce the student to the U.S.
