Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a high school teacher to deliver for-credit Bible classes (grades 9-12) and mentor students within a faith-based program. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise’s beliefs.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing training, teaching the LifeWise curriculum, maintaining grades and attendance, and engaging with the community to promote LifeWise’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise high school for-credit classes using the provided curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and rosters; communicate with school staff and provide assessments as required.
• Create an organized, safe, and redemptive classroom environment; promote student engagement.
