iE-USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational exchange organization that was founded in 2002. We are devoted to building and strengthening relationships and understanding among the people of the world and believe that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to eliminate fears and prejudices. We pride ourselves on providing individual care and direct support to our exchange students, host families, local schools, and iE team members, and we are certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET).

Share your world, raise global awareness in a personal way, and create friendships for a lifetime by hosting a high school exchange student. We are CURRENTLY SEEKING host families in SOUTHBURY, CT and surrounding areas for several fall 2025 exchange students, full year, semester for 5 months, or welcome families! You only need a spare bed and an open heart.

These are just a few of the students we are looking to place:

• Marina from Spain, age 15 - likes skiing, gymnastics, equestrian, and youth group
• Finn from Germany, age 16 - likes American Football, basketball, chess, and design
• Eliza from Belgium, age 17 - likes gymnastics, painting, reading, and writing
• Rocio from Spain, age 15 - likes band, public speaking, violin, gymnastics, and the outdoors

In exchange for a bed, 3 meals a day, local transportation, and the support of a family, you and your family will get an experience of a lifetime and the opportunity to learn about someone from another culture and country, share your America, and create a bond with someone from another country.
