Job summary

Liliʻuokalani Trust is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Program to engage and support volunteers across program locations in Honolulu. You will recruit, train, schedule, and recognize volunteers while ensuring alignment with LT’s mission and program needs.

The role collaborates with the Managing Director, Policy and Practice and LT’s Senior Leadership Team to enhance community engagement and ensure cultural resonance across locations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, human resources, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in volunteer coordination or program support.
• Familiarity with volunteer management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer assignments across program locations based on program and operational needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and track hours for reporting and recognition.
• Conduct volunteer orientation and training sessions.
• Support volunteer recruitment efforts through community outreach and events.
• Assist in developing and updating volunteer service descriptions and SOPs.
