Responsibilities include completing certification, delivering LifeWise lessons, building relationships with students, maintaining records, and engaging with schools and volunteers; the role emphasizes faith-aligned, redemptive discipline and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training and certification within 30 days
• Teach LifeWise classes using curriculum and map out lesson plans
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment with redemptive discipline
• Apply LifeWise policies, procedures and resources
• Maintain attendance and class rosters as needed
• Prepare information for substitute teachers as needed
• Communicate with school personnel to stay updated on schedules and student well-being
• Build relationships with volunteers and keep them informed of schedule changes
• Promote and communicate LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions
