A leading hospice organization in Texas is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to enhance volunteer programs and ensure quality patient care. This role involves liaising with volunteers, developing policies, and fostering community relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in volunteer management and strong public relations skills.
The primary function is to act as a liaison between hospice and the volunteers regarding patient / family needs. Responsibilities include development and promotion of volunteer programs and maximizing resources. This role will be responsible for Plano, Dallas and Sherman.

Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS :
Works in an office environment, promoting efficient functioning and coordination of all agency activities to insure the highest level of professional patient care. Ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally, some exposure to unpleasant weather.
