Menstrual Toxic Shock Survivor | Founder of Protect Her Inc.

Do you believe menstrual health should be taught early and often?

Have you learned about your own cycle and thought, “Wow—I wish I knew this sooner”?

Do you love teaching and want to support youth beyond the classroom?

If you’re nodding “yes,” we’d love to invite you to join Protect Her Inc.’s Volunteer Content Advisor Cohort—a passionate group of educators helping us make menstrual health education accurate, inclusive, age-appropriate, and confidence-building for students in grades 3–12 (ages 8–18).

We're building content that meets kids where they are—from their first questions to feeling ready and informed. But we need your classroom insight to make sure it really lands.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review menstrual health education content for youth in grades 3–12 (ages 8–18)
  • Offer feedback on tone, clarity, accessibility, and developmental fit
  • Share your classroom wisdom—what works, what doesn’t
  • Collaborate with other educators in a virtual group setting
  • Help shape the future of period education for the next generation
  • ~5–10 hours/month
  • 2 virtual group meetings per month (rest is flexible, on your own time)
  • 3-month initial commitment (with option to continue)
  • All advisors must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

We’re seeking educators and youth mentors who are:

  • Passionate about menstrual health and health equity
  • Currently teaching grades 3–12
  • Clear communicators and kind collaborators

How to Apply:

Email a copy of your resume to info@protectherinc.com with the subject line "Content Advisor Application".

In the body of your message, please share:

  • What grade(s) you currently teach
  • How long you’ve been an educator
  • Whether you’re a parent
  • Any additional youth experience (coaching, counseling, mentoring, etc.)
  • Have you ever taught or discussed menstrual health in your classroom?
  • What excites you most about being part of this cohort
  • Why this mission speaks to you

We can’t wait to hear from you. Let’s change how the next generation learns about their bodies—together.
