Glorious day at the Appel Farm Dining Hall

Appel Farm Arts Camp, a residential non-profit arts center, is seeking dining hall servers to assist the chef team in serving meals from two stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Positions are available from June 9th to August 5th, with meals served at 8am, 12pm, and 6:30pm. Help on any days/times are welcome—you choose! This role involves working with camp counselors and children aged 8 to 16. It's great for individuals, seniors, and friend groups looking to meet new people in an energetic, inclusive camp environment. College students/grads seeking resume experience and social volunteer groups aiming to make a community impact are also welcome.

We are a regional arts center providing opportunities for arts education, appreciation, and creative expression to artists, students, and the public through programs that reflect the Appel’s founding principles.

  • On-site free community festivals including the South Jersey Arts Fest in spring and the Artober Festival in fall.
  • Overnight arts experiences such as the Mother’s Day Weekend Arts Retreat.
  • Collaborations with regional and statewide youth arts programs including the Salem/Gloucester County Teen Arts Festival and the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards.
  • After school, evening, and weekend Arts Labs classes for adults, youth, and families.
  • Community Arts Labs classes in local libraries.
  • Residential summer Arts Camp for ages 8 to 16.
  • Innovative arts-based collaborations promoting health and wellness in the community.
  • Arts residencies for school children and professional development for educators and schools.
