Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking qualified teachers for LifeWise Secondary Education, serving grades 6-12. The role requires a mature Christian faith, active church participation, and excellent communication in a caring classroom setting.

You will train, certify, and teach LifeWise classes, maintain attendance and rosters, and coordinate with school personnel. Emphasis on relational teaching and redemptive discipline in line with LifeWise policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and photo permissions.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitute teachers.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate with the program director and school personnel as needed.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
