LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who can deliver engaging lessons within our LifeWise program in Indiana. The role emphasizes strong Bible knowledge, caring interpersonal skills, and reliable classroom presence.

Ideal candidates are active church participants, aligned with our Statement of Faith, and committed to the LifeWise approach. Training is provided; opportunities to impact students in a supportive church-based setting exist.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Commitment to LifeWise Academy values and community

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and provide to the teacher
• Keep classroom clean, attractive and well-ordered
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate with the teacher
