Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to perform Disaster Engagement readiness activities needed to support the regional disaster workforce.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the annual workforce engagement goals, RDO objectives, and regional/chapter plan for volunteer engagement through participation in meetings and projects.
2. Participate in projects assigned according to your area of interest, such as onboarding/placement, deployment, training, recognition, leadership development, volunteer connection/profile management, and engagement.
3. Conduct volunteer interviews, update profiles in Volunteer Connection, recognize volunteers, analyze reports/data, and schedule volunteers as needed.
