Join us to apply for the Volunteer Advisors for Small Businesses role at New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE).

NYPACE offers skills-based volunteering opportunities to experienced professionals interested in making a direct impact on under-served, local entrepreneurs. Our programs include 8-week cohort-driven projects with specific deliverables, peer networking, business workshops, and entrepreneur "sprints." Our focus areas are:

• Financial literacy and planning
• Strategic planning
• Operations
• Marketing and customer relations

We value your time and expertise. Our projects are bespoke, fast-paced, and high-impact, with entrepreneurs referred through a rigorous application process. As a volunteer, you will work with a team of 2-3 others over 8 weeks, dedicating approximately 2.5 hours per week, to deliver tangible results that support business growth or stability.

We conduct five cohorts annually, and volunteers are welcome to participate multiple times or wait for a schedule that suits them. Ideal candidates:

• Can commit 2.5 hours weekly for 8 weeks
• Are comfortable working virtually
• Have expertise in Finance & Budget, Business Development, Strategic Planning & Analysis, or Marketing & Communications
• Want to make an immediate impact in the NYC small business community
• Ask good questions and possess high emotional intelligence and cultural competency
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and trust-building within teams
