Job Description
SCOPE OF WORK:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) works in the United States to welcome newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities.
The IRC in New Jersey seeks volunteer instructors to support English language learning among recently arrived adult refugees and immigrants who have fled persecution in their home country and are rebuilding their lives in New Jersey. IRC will hold 1.5-hour morning, afternoon, or evening classes twice a week. Volunteers must commit to teaching a selected schedule every week for a 10-week long session for at least 6 months.
