SQ4D seeks a hands-on Concrete Mixing Technician to support real Concrete 3D Printing projects across multiple states. You will assist with material loading, calibration, and on-site mixing, ensuring precise ratios and smooth operation of the print process.

This role requires travel up to 65%, physical endurance, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. The team values problem-solving, reliability, and the willingness to operate heavy equipment as part of a fast-growing construction

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 65% to support field construction operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges during the mixing process.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Material Loading: Stocking mixer bins with sand, cement powder, and water.
• Calibration: Adjusting mixer gate settings and dials for accurate material ratios.
• On-Site Mixing: Monitor and dispense exact concrete amounts for the print operator.
• Equipment Maintenance: Flush augers and discharge chutes to prevent hardening.

Responsibilities:

• Material Loading: Stocking separate mixer bins with sand, cement powder, and water prior to arrival daily operations


• Calibration: Adjusting mixer gate settings and dials to ensure the raw materials feed into the mixing auger at accurate ratios for specific strength requirements.


• On-Site Mixing: Monitoring the mixing process from a rear-mounted control panel to dispense the exact amount of concrete needed by the print operator


• Equipment Maintenance: Flushing the mixing auger and discharge chutes with water immediately after each day to prevent the concrete from hardening inside the machinery

Must Have:

• Willingness and availability to travel up to 65% to support field construction operations.


• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges during the mixing process.


• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.


• Valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation


• Reliable, punctual, and professional in an in-person setting


• Heavy equipment Operation (backhoe, skid steer, and/or telehandler)

Nice to have:

• 2 years of experience operating volumetric mixers and or concrete pumps


• Experience with Graco Rotor/Stator pumps (or equivalent)


• Familiarity with concrete-construction jobsites (Footing,Slabs, tiltup construction)


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
