Palmetto Goodwill is hiring a cook to prepare meals in large quantities, following the Armed Forces Recipe Service. You will season and cook meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables, and keep all work areas clean and sanitary.

You will also assist in food cost control and budget monitoring, under the supervision of the Lead Cook. Must read, write, and understand English, perform basic math, and obtain the required security clearance.

Qualificações

• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

• Follow safety requirements and policies.
• Read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals in large quantities by various methods.
• Season and cook meats, fish, poultry, and vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Assist in food cost development and budget monitoring.
• Adhere to Armed Forces Recipe Service specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by shift Lead Cook.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by staff and clients.
