Job Overview

High school Broad Run, Volleyball assistant coaching position. Season runs Fall, August - November.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
2. Collaborate with the athletic department.
3. Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
4. Carry out specific duties designated by the head athletic coach.
5. Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the sports program.
6. Suggest disciplinary actions regarding players violating training rules and procedures.
7. Foster among athletes a desire to win, good sportsmanship, personal pride, and pride for their school and community.
8. Perform other duties related to the assistant athletic coach position as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.

Qualifications

1. Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels.
2. Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in a current CPR and First Aid course.
3. Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
4. Prefer candidates with a Virginia Teaching License or full-time classified employment in Loudoun County Public Schools.
