Qualifications

• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Must have or be able to obtain an active volleyball coaching license.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.
• Willingness to continually study new theories and procedures relevant to the field.
• Serves as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental volleyball skills, strategy, and physical training.
• Model and teach socially acceptable character and self-discipline, building confidence and pride among student athletes.
• Assist in program organization and supervision of the total sports program.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through coaching clinics, observations, and consultations.
