Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking an Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach to join the West Liberty Community School District in Iowa. The coach will be responsible for instructing athletes in fundamental skills and strategies while also acting as a role model for self-discipline and character development. This full-time position requires the ability to organize and supervise a sports program and a coaching license. Serve as a role model for student‑athletes through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

Reports to: The athletic director and head coach, who provide overall objectives and final evaluation in conjunction with the high school principals.

Job Goal: To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success, and to model socially acceptable character development, self‑discipline, self‑confidence, and pride of accomplishment. The coach continually upgrades knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, and related professional development.
