These are Fall positions for grades 7 – 12. The season begins (officially for practice) on August 24th and will end late October to mid-November, depending on State Tournament qualifications. Appointments to coaching positions are conditional on Mass. Dept. of Public Health & Lenox Board of Health rules at the time applicable to high school athletics practices & events.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to teach fundamental skills, as well as prepare teams for competition. Must value working with children and work collaboratively with the school to support student-athletes. Must obtain a MIAA coaching certification or be a certified teacher. MIAA certification courses are available. Must be familiar with MIAA policies and procedures. Must be positive and energetic, looking to transcend and build a high school program while teaching sportsmanship, work ethic, and team values.
COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A Contract -- $3,400.00
