Job Summary

Location: Cardinal Ritter College Prep

Reports To: Athletic Director

Season: Fall Sport

Cardinal Ritter College Prep is seeking a dynamic and experienced Volleyball Coach to lead and manage the volleyball program. The ideal candidate will build a competitive and character-driven team while developing athletes both on and off the court.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all practices, matches, and team activities during the fall season.
• Develop players' skills, game strategies, and physical conditioning.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and assign roles as needed.
• Maintain and manage equipment and uniforms.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and school administration.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and MSHSAA rules and regulations.
• Promote academic achievement and character development.
• Coordinate team logistics, including transportation and facility use.
• Represent Cardinal Ritter College Prep positively in the community and during competition.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Prior volleyball coaching experience (head coaching preferred).
• Strong understanding of volleyball techniques, rules, and coaching methods.
• Leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• MSHSAA certification or eligibility to be certified.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
