Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by ASHA; NC License in Speech Language Pathology and Temporary License in Speech Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of voice and upper airway disorders.
• Evaluation of swallowing disorders.
• Accurate & thorough documentation and billing of clinical services.
• Complete workflows related to patient care (e.g., insurance requests).
• Maintain required licensure, trainings per Duke, JCAHO and other governing bodies.
• Participate in staff meetings and CEUs as required by ASHA and NC.
• Collaboration with laryngologists and other providers on treatment plans.

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
