LILT is seeking professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology for an exciting project. We are looking for native English speakers, preferably female, mature (35–55) with natural, conversational delivery and clear articulation.

You will work as an independent contractor, selecting projects that fit your schedule, with fast payments and competitive rates. Access to a home recording setup and ability to meet tight deadlines are required; licensing your voice for AI/TTS may

• Treated space with minimal background noise
• Able to follow recording technical requirements and deliver demos when required
• Open to licensing voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training
• May undergo a test for project vetting and quality checks

About The Opportunity

We are looking for professional or semi-professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology for an exciting project.

Voice characteristics:

Female, "mature" (~35–55 years old), natural rather than polished/robotic — retaining natural pauses, disfluencies, and natural word emphasis.

Personality and Tone:

1. Conversational and likeable for customers (e.g., friendly, empathetic, patient)

1. Natural and approachable in a dialogue

1. Intelligent, confident, engaged, and builds trust

1. Welcoming and accommodating without being earnest, sycophantic or too eager to please

Speech Quality and Clarity:

1. Easy to follow and clear

1. Consistent, moderate pace with natural pauses

Qualifications

• Must be native speaker of the target locale

• Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming

• Access to a home recording setup

  • Recording software

  • Microphone

  • Headset/speakers

  • Audio Interface

  • Professional Digital Audio Workstation, software, plugins

  • Treated space, quiet environment, free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling, etc.

• Able to follow specific technical requirements when recording (volume level, file naming, format, gaps between segments, audio quality, etc.)

• Able to provide demo, sample recordings, voiceover samples

• Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and able to meet tight delivery deadlines when engaged

• Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training

• Depending on the project, you may undergo a test in our module to be subsequently vetted against all requirements.

Step 2: Submit samples of voice work and/or take a test in our text platform. If a test is required, you will be asked to verify equipment, rates and fees, availability, etc.

Step 3: Once you are selected for a project, we will finalize your onboarding by having you complete our application form and adding you to our community, setting up your account for payments, and completing the remaining onboarding steps.
