Job summary

Aerodyne Industries, LLC is seeking an early to mid-level Voice engineer with 5-10 years of experience on the COSMOS contract at NASA's Johnson Space Center, on-site in Houston. Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree and at least 3 years of general experience.
• Ability to obtain a NASA PIV badge for NASA credentials.
• Experience with voice, video, and timing systems.
• Experience with IP-based Voice and Video system architecture.
• Experience with Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) voice systems.
• Experience with audio codecs (G.711, G.729).
• Experience with telephony systems (Loop/Ground Start, SIP, Asterisk).
• Experience with carrier interfaces (TDM, IP).
• Experience with mission audio recorder systems.
• Experience with Analog/Digital audio conversion and distribution equipment.
• Experience with IP video streaming formats and decoding techniques.
• Experience with video interfaces (HDMI, SDI) and resolutions (720p, 1080p, 4K).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ITIL/process adherence.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of Video, Voice, and Timing Systems.
• Assist in maintaining engineering documentation and generating change instructions for MCCS/MTC/SVMF systems.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues as needed.
• Support the development of project schedules and provide status updates to management and engineering teams.
• Coordinate implementation activities with integration teams, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders.
