The successful candidate will teach private voice, vocal pedagogy, diction, and related courses, while contributing to recruitment, curriculum design, and professional development within the Department of Music & Theatre.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in vocal performance or pedagogy is required or ABD/Artist Diploma will be considered.
• Demonstrated professional activity in the community.
• Desire to engage in performance and/or scholarship with Christian integration.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses including private voice lessons, vocal pedagogy, diction for singers, opera workshop and musical theatre workshop.
• Provide leadership and coordination for the vocal area; oversee auditions and music scholarships; collaborate with choral and theatre programs.
• Contribute to curriculum design, course development, and assessment for program improvement; advise and mentor students; supervise internships and recitals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and scholarly activity to remain current in teaching and performance.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts and build external partnerships for internships and employment opportunities.
