Job summary

Food Authority is hiring for a role focused on accurate order picking and maintaining product integrity. The position requires attention to packaging details, temperature controls, and collaborative work across departments to ensure food safety standards are met. Training starts at $18.75 per hour, with pay adjustments based on productivity and volume.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution/warehousing food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (electric pallet jack, pallet rider, forklift a plus).
• Ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Understand purchase orders through Voice-activate headset in English.
• Accurately count and assemble boxes according to purchase orders and maintain balanced pallet loads.
• Maintain product integrity and temperature controls.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure Safe Quality Food controls.
• Organize and work efficiently while picking orders.
• Prioritize safety at all times.
• Follow FIFO for fair workload distribution.
• Stack and wrap pallets for safe transportation and maintain a clean work environment.
