Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. (CRT) is hiring Voice Data Technicians for on-site installation and maintenance of low-voltage networks across automotive, commercial, healthcare, and other markets. You will work with TCP/IP concepts, MAC/IP addressing, and basic switch/router configurations to ensure network health.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite and MAC/IP addressing.
• Reading blueprints and diagrams to implement cabling and networks.
• Basic understanding of structured cabling and network infrastructure standards (BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA).
• Willingness to train and obtain BICSI certification.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, and splice cables.
• Install switches, routers, and telecommunications equipment.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with contractors.
• Configure and maintain data networks and telephony systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA).
• Operate and service communications devices in voice/data networks.
