Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a professional Italian-speaking voice actor for AI training. This fully remote hourly contract invites you to record high-quality samples and evaluate AI speech for naturalness and expressiveness.

You will work asynchronously from your own studio, provide feedback, and help shape how AI systems speak to Italian listeners worldwide. Prior voice acting experience and a professional recording setup are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields.
• Fluent in Italian with expressive delivery.
• Owns a professional recording setup (microphone, quiet space).
• Detail-oriented about pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity.
• Self-motivated and reliable working independently.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality Italian voice samples from provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, and expressiveness
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve AI-generated speech qualityReview and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and natural delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
• Fluent in Italian with a strong command of natural, expressive spoken delivery
• Equipped with a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Detail-oriented when it comes to pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience in broadcast, commercial, animation, or e-learning voice work
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or recording software
• Awareness of regional Italian accents and dialectal variation
