Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Italian-speaking voice actors to record scripts and evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for naturalness and expressiveness. This is a fully remote, hourly contract with a flexible, asynchronous schedule. You’ll provide high-quality voice samples, assess pronunciation and tone, and give clear, actionable feedback to improve outputs.

A professional studio setup and a quality microphone are required. Experience in voice acting, narration, or dubbing is preferred.

Voice Actor – Italian Speakers (AI Training)

About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a professional-level Italian voice, a quality microphone setup, and a sharp ear for what great speech sounds like.

What You’ll Do

• Record high-quality voice samples in Italian from provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for naturalness, pronunciation, and expressiveness
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to help improve AI-generated audio outputs
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and natural delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule, from your own studio

Who You Are

• Fluent in Italian with a clear, natural, and expressive speaking voice
• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
• Equipped with a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, tone, pacing, and vocal clarity
• Self-motivated and consistent when working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Professional voice acting credits or a demo reel
• Experience working with scripts across multiple genres — commercial, narrative, instructional
• Familiarity with audio recording and editing software
• Exposure to AI tools or voice evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Italian accents or dialectal variation
