Role Overview

• This role involves customer service, efficiency, and creating a welcoming atmosphere, beyond just preparing drinks.

Scope of Work & Team

• Reports to the Food & Beverage Director / Sous Chef
• Supports F&B staff during shifts

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and cold brews.
• Assist customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and ensure positive guest experiences.
• Operate equipment safely and correctly.
• Handle cash transactions and balance the register.
• Maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist with inventory.
• Collaborate with team members during busy periods.

Qualifications

Experience: Prior experience in coffee shops, restaurants, or hotels preferred.

IT Skills: Knowledge of POS systems (e.g., SilverWare) and web analytics is a plus.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Subject Expertise: Knowledge of safety procedures, ability to follow directions, work under minimal supervision, and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Expectations

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Travel as needed for training or content creation.
• Work primarily during business hours (e.g., 6am-12pm EST), with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.
