This Time-Limited (NS-14) position is with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation within the Community Rehabilitation Program. Incumbents provide a variety of instruction and training to individuals with disabilities who are receiving services in our Community Rehabilitation Program – AbilityWorks. Incumbents work under the general supervision of the Facility Manager (Vocational Training Supervisor).
To be successful in this position, you will need to work with minimal supervision by identifying issues and solving problems as they arise professionally and respectfully; Adapt and change as new information or unexpected obstacles are encountered; Effectively deal with difficult issues and people, exercising sound reasoning; ensure all problems encountered are addressed at the appropriate level and communicate all relevant information in a timely basis with accuracy and completeness.
Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 3-4 years of relevant experience and/or relevant certifications/licenses. — Hiring Agency Prefers: A High School Diploma or high school equivalency and three (3) to four (4) years of experience directly related to the above-described duties.
