Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Career Services Trainer to provide skills training and vocational services aligned with program goals. You will recruit participants, support job readiness, and help develop training sites with employer-paid wages.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining documentation, coordinating with counselors, and ensuring high-quality, individualized services while adhering to CARF and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
• Three years' work experience in related field.
• Experience providing training in the specific skill area.
• Strong communication, training and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training and vocational services in support of program goals.
• Recruit participants eligible for funding to ensure financial sustainability.
• Develop community work experience and training sites with employer-paid wages.
• Submit recommendations for equipment, curriculum updates and materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of program operations.
• Supervise and train personnel and train participants in various settings.
• Coordinate with referring counselors and agency partners.
• Ensure high quality, individualized services and adherence to policies.
