Job summary

Los Angeles Jewish Health is seeking a Temporary Vocational Nursing Instructor to plan, teach, and supervise all student learning experiences in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical areas, following the ASN curriculum. The role requires CA VN/RN licensure and strong instructional abilities.

Qualified applicants will have teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel to clinical sites. Working hours are Wednesday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Registered or Licensed Vocational Nurse - CA license.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage classroom, clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Teach theory and clinical/lab components as assigned.
• Coordinate daily plan with clinical site to observe and evaluate students.
• Provide feedback on student progress and improvement objectives.
• Ensure alignment of clinical experiences with curriculum.
