Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking a Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lincoln, NE to support individuals with developmental disabilities in day centers and community settings.

Full-time role, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. Starting pay $19/hour, range $19–$20 with room for experience and CNA credentials. The DSP leads by example, documents progress, and collaborates with teammates to help participants develop daily living and vocational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities at the vocational day center, community, and other settings to ensure they have a meaningful life and develop vocational skills.
• Support DSPs and work side by side with them to assist with day-to-day living activities and community integration.

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as an Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver in Lincoln, NE.

What You’ll Do

Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities at the vocational day center, community, and other various settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. You will support DSPs along with working side by side with them as they assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills vocationally and in community settings.

Hours

Full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8a-4p.
