Job summary

You Belong LLC in Lorain, OH seeks a Vocational Evaluator Assistant to schedule, evaluate, document, and report on evaluative services using agency tools. You will maintain CRCC ethics, manage referrals promptly, and handle billing timely while serving individuals and the community.

Requirements include a master’s in a related field, possibly CRC/CVE, and a valid vehicle with a clean driving record; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred for applicants.
• CRC or CVE credential preferred; may be seniority‑based.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in human services/assessment required.
• CPR certification a plus; willing to obtain within 1 year at contractor’s expense.
• Own reliable vehicle and clean driver’s abstract required.
• Proven ability to provide high quality assessment services.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, evaluate, document, and compile reports for evaluative services using agency programs and resources.
• Remain in compliance with CRCC Code of Ethics regardless of CRC/CVE credentialed status.
• Schedule services within 10 days of referral when possible.
• Complete billing and invoicing within 3 days of testing.
• Deliver services with integrity meeting needs of individuals, and the business/community.

Vocational Evaluator Assistant Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduling, evaluating, documenting and compiling a report for evaluative services using agency designated programs, software and resources .
• Remain in compliance with all CRCC Code of Ethics regardless if CRC \CVE credentialed or not.
• Schedule services within 10 days of receiving referral whenever possible.
• Complete billing and invoicing within 3 days of completing testing.
• Ensure all services are provided with integrity and meet the needs of both the individuals served and the business/community.

Vocational EvaluatorAssistant Requirements:

• Master’s in Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling or related field preferred.
• CRC and\or CVE Preferred (Note: this may be a Vocational Evaluator Role and not an assistant based on experience).
• Bachelor’s degree and\or comparable experience in human services\assessment required.
• CPR Certification a plus. Must be willing to obtain and maintain certification within 1 year of contract hire, at contractors' expense.
• Have and maintain a reliable vehicle and ability to drive with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Demonstrated ability in previous experience to provide excellent assessment services.
• Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft software, various internet software, word processing, etc.

Vocational Evaluator Assistant Compensation:

• Full time: Hourly Rate: $16-25 per hour salaried
• Part time: Hourly rate of $16-25 per hour (clock in and clock out)
• Health Coverage available for full time salaried
