Omega Health Services is seeking a compassionate Vocational Counselor to join our Chantilly, VA team. You will help veterans and individuals with disabilities explore career options, prepare for employment, connect with local employers, and develop the skills and confidence to succeed in the workplace.

You don't need a traditional vocational rehabilitation background; if you enjoy supporting others, building relationships, solving problems, and helping people reach their goals, your experience

What You'll Do

• Help people discover their potential: Identify individuals' strengths, interests, skills, and career goals.
• Guide career development: Provide individualized career counseling, employment planning, and job readiness support.
• Prepare candidates for success: Assist with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and workplace skills.
• Connect people with opportunities: Identify job openings and match individuals with positions aligned with their abilities and interests.
• Build employer partnerships: Reach out to local businesses, develop employment opportunities, and promote inclusive hiring.
• Support workplace success: Provide job coaching, onboarding assistance, and follow-up to help individuals maintain employment.
• Build community connections: Collaborate with employers, families, referral partners, and community organizations.
• Track progress and maintain records: Complete case notes, service documentation, and required reports accurately and on time.
• Manage your caseload: Coordinate multiple priorities and meet service deadlines while working independently throughout the surrounding communities.
