Capitol Region Education Council in Hartford, CT seeks a part-time Vocal Music instructor for the CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts - Half Day. The 20-hour weekly position runs September–June, Monday through Thursday, with occasional evening and weekend events.

The teacher will develop and deliver curriculum in performance ensemble, music theory, and electives, differentiating instruction for diverse learners.

Competenze

• Extensive knowledge of music theory.
• Knowledge of CT State music standards and concepts in jazz, contemporary and classical genres.
• Performance experience as a working musician.
• Eligibility for CT Adjunct Arts Instructor Permit.

• Plan and deliver challenging curricula and daily lessons in music.
• Teach classes for diverse student groups, ensuring alignment with developmental and skill levels.
